Gemma Conlon
Director
Gemma Conlon is an accomplished Planner with over 23 years of experience in the private and public sectors across three countries. Her expertise spans resource management planning, development, and planning policy.
Gemma holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning, Post Graduate Diplomas in Planning and Business Administration, and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and an Associate Member of the NZPI. She is also an accredited Independent Commissioner. Her extensive qualifications and international experience have shaped her customer-centric and collaborative approach to planning, development, and service provision.
She has also played a pivotal role in establishing a town centre management group for Timaru, leveraging her skills in stakeholder engagement and project management. Gemma is a valuable asset in any project or design team, known for her adaptability and resourcefulness in achieving results for both private and public sector clients.
Mark Geddes
Director
Mark Geddes is a highly experienced planner with over 23 years of planning expertise in three countries, both in the public and private sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Resource Studies and a Master of Science in Spatial Planning (First Class Honours). Mark is a Full Member of NZPI and an Accredited Independent Commissioner. Mark excels in leading major plan-making projects, providing expert planning testimony in legal proceedings, securing approvals for large-scale developments, and influencing national legislation and policies.
He collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders, including local authorities, government officials, private developers, indigenous communities (iwi), and community groups.
Mark’s passion is plan-making, notably leading the Timaru District Plan review from its inception. He has a strong track record in public consultation and stakeholder collaboration, a deep commitment to Te Ao Māori (the Māori world), and effective leadership, including chairing local and regional planning groups and participating in national resource management panels.
